Boundless Movement Academy offers a combination of different classes aimed to improve speed, agility, strength, conditioning, and overall fitness. Classes are defined by age (from 4 to adult) and interest (e.g. gaining a competitive edge vs. improving overall fitness). The program is designed to progress athletes from introductory skills and foundations to advanced metrics-based performance training.
For kids ages 4 to 6, we teach a sports exploration class. This class helps kids identify their interests and skills by exploring a variety of major sports. Kids are taught fundamentals and basic techniques associated with each sport in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. This class is designed to foster a love of movement and athletics, thus laying the foundations for a lifetime of fitness.
Fit ‘n Fun
For youth from 7 to 18, this class is oriented towards those that want to get or stay active but who are not training for competitive sports. Kids will be taught fundamentals of fitness and basic techniques associated with major sports in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. This class will be designed to foster a love of movement and athletics, thus laying the foundations for a lifetime of fitness.
For athletes ranging from 7 to 10 years of age, classes establish safe and effective movement patterns as the groundwork needed to ensure injury prevention while enhancing athletic performance. Instructors address skill acquisition while also assessing and targeting potential need for growth in areas of coordination, strength, endurance, and agility. Athletes are encouraged to set goals and achieve them through discipline and consistency.
Athletes ages 11-14 are able to further develop their skills with classes designed to breakdown the biomechanics and science behind effective movements while combating ineffective motor habits. Participants learn to effectively utilize their skills with an additional focus on teamwork, commitment, and perseverance.
Athletes 15+ participate in classes built to take their skills to the next level. Players participate in baseline performance metrics testing, movement based assessments, intensive drill-based agility training, and more to give them the competitive advantage they need in their sport. Athletes are encouraged to strive for excellence through attention to detail and the hard work needed to be the best they can be.
Classes are flexible and customized based on the needs of the participants. Curriculum can accommodate general fitness or occupational based training (firefighters, police, EMT, etc.). High intensity interval based training techniques are used in order to build strength, endurance, and confidence for recreational or work activities.
